Sexual health
Being sexually healthy means understanding your body, being aware of the choices you have and having control over the decisions you make regarding your sexual life.
Love, affection and sexual intimacy all play a role in healthy relationships and help to develop our sense of well-being. Having the correct information to make informed decisions is also important for your sexual health.
If you have any concerns about your sexual health, whether it be questions or worries, there is always a counsellor at Otago Polytechnic Counselling or at Student Health Services who will listen to you and give you options and advice.
They can answer questions about:
-
Your sexual activity
-
Contraception
-
Pregnancy
-
STIs
-
Relationship-based problems
