Do you have uninterrupted access to an up-to-date laptop, desktop computer, chrome book or tablet that has voice and video functionality? (not just a phone).
Do you have a basic level of word processing skills? E.g. Are you able to download, upload, attach, and save documents?
Are you able to check your email and use your online calendar?
Are you able to use a browser and search engine e.g., Firefox and Google to navigate the internet?
Do you have time in your day-to-day life that you can dedicate to attending online classes AND self-study time? (this applies to self-directed, part-time and full-time online courses).
Are you able to participate in online classes, post on class discussion forums and be an active participant?
Can you organise your time well to be able to meet course deadlines?
Are you self-motivated and can work independently?
Do you know how to communicate effectively online? E.g. through email, chat, or forums.
If you answered YES to all of the questions, you are ready to study online!
